Another Year of Choices<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\"Participate\"<\/a>When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we know that salvation is a given.\u00a0 It\u2019s a done deal.\u00a0 However, we are expected to do more than just bask in the glory of knowing we are saved.\u00a0 Our relationship with God is not all up to Him.\u00a0 We must have a desire to know Him, walk with Him, and seek His presence.\u00a0 We need to participate in what the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have going on, not just observe.\u00a0 We should be participants, not spectators.\u00a0 So we need to do our part.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Relationship with God involves participation in what He is doing.\u00a0 Yes, God can do it all, but where does that leave us? God does not generally do for us what we can do for ourselves.\u00a0 There is a difference in asking God to bless our work than asking Him to do it for us. \u00a0All through the Bible God required some sort of participation.\u00a0 When Jesus performed miracles He could have just waved his arms, said abracadabra, and had everything done automatically.\u00a0 He usually didn\u2019t do that because He wanted people to be a part of what he was doing.\u00a0 Here are a few examples.<\/p>\n
